In Malaysia, Sabah is one of the states that is recognized as truly Malaysia because of its beauty in nature, and the unforgettable memory that comes along together during the stay in Sabah. There are a lot of hidden gems in Sabah where one can experience the uniqueness it has to offers. Meanwhile, it was fun and harmony to tag along and leave a remarkable memory at the end of the journey.

Mount Kinabalu

       First comes in everyone's mind when one mentions Sabah will be their infamous highest mountain Mount Kinabalu. It was on the flag and the word of mouth, from the sea level, the mountain height is up to 4095.2metres and is one of the highest mountains around the world. Many hikers around the world gather towards Mount Kinabalu to accept the challenge of climbing up the mountain. 

                           

        Besides all the challenges, many hikers get to experience a phenomenal view of plants and animal along their journey on hiking the mountain as Sabah is a tropical island yet the mountain is mix with different climate due to the height which means, there is a lot of flora and fauna on the mountain that cannot be found on land such as Flora: Rafflesia, low Rhododendrons, Nepenthes, Fauna: Mountain Blackbird and Hornbills. Climbing up Mount Kinabalu will be a pleasant journey along the way to those hikers who love nature and sightseeing.

    

Maliau Basin

        Maliau Basin, "The Lost World of Sabah" is some of the hidden gems in Sabah that is conserved and it is isolated. The Lost World of Sabah is where all the outstanding sight has its own story and reasoning. It is a 588.4 Sq.km land located at 190km from Tawau. 

        It was named Lost World for a reason as there are more than 10 types of forest across the land. its population is massive and many varieties of animal and plant find themselves comfortable in this big land of tropical there were at least 30 species of mammals, more than 200 types of birds, and more than 80 species of orchids that are rare can be found on the land and still uncovering both animal and plants. 

        Besides all of the amazement, Maliau Basin has one of the breathtaking waterfalls where the visitor can have a rest while enjoying the view and play in the water.

          

Kundasang

    

        Kundasang is a place where every local would want to visit at least once on their vacation trip as the places are filled with a lot of activities that are suitable for any occasion. Kundasang is a high ground district, located in Ranau and blessed with beautiful scenery and chill wind. 

       

         Here located the all-time favorite Desa dairy milk farm where all the milk is freshly from cattle and put into production for dairy milk, yogurt, and ice cream as well. Visitors stand a chance to see how the products are made inside the farm and buy from there all of the freshly made products thus the view on-farm is astonishing with the chill air which brings a similar feeling on visiting New Zealand.

        Furthermore, some resorts offer a good price where it is located at a strategic position where they had a good view of Mount Kinabalu, comfortable and has warm water to shower.         Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre (SORC) rehabilitate Orangutan, the largest tree-dwelling mammal from continue drop in amount and went extinct throughout the year. So far, SORC has released over 100 healthy and independent Orangutan and is claim as one of the top 4 well-known Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre due to the high success rate of rehabilitate . 

        It is worthy to visit the center and support the community on doing this charity as visitors stand a chance to learn how the mammals are the care and have a better understanding of Orangutan. Besides, visitors get to see Orangutan during their feed time. Orangutan is fed twice a day which means they will gather twice a day at the center enjoying their meal this is when the visitor can see an Orangutan up close and interact respectfully.
