The most unforgettable trip to North India last year

The most unforgettable trip to North India last year

When it is about having a taste of the culture, history, food and vibrant colours in one platter, there are few better places to visit other than Northern India.

Last year in August 2019, I have gone to Agra to see one of the 7 wonders of the world The Taj Mahal, which is situated in India. It is a symbol of love, as the Mulgal Akbar for his beloved wife Mumtaz. In fact that was my first trip to North India new city, so I choose to visit Agra first. To get accommodation of my preference it has to book in advance and my stay in my hotel experience was very good. The facilities, service and food looked nice and comfortable. Actually Agra hotels offer good choices for choosing according to our requirements. You can easily find some nice, budget hotels with all the facilities to comfortably make your stay. I stayed in 3 -star hotels and according to my advice 3 -star Hotels in Agra are very comfortable and appropriate for any kind of budget.

I had only seen Taj Mahal 's pictures in magazine or on the internet or in newspapers before my visit. I've seen people in schools and colleges highlighting the beauty and the surrounding it. Everybody knows a little bit about Taj Mahal though not everyone has physically visited it. Taj Mahal, you can say, is the world's most famous structures. The thrill of seeing Taj Mahal through my own eyes is so strong that I can't wait to visit the beautiful monument after reaching Agra.

Because of my experience, it's very easy to move around in Agra because when I went out with my friends to explore the wonderful city of love, I felt the rickshaw driver was eager to take us as their customers. I don't understand it's a good thing to be a tourist or something else but I felt special. Although we decided to travel through the shuttle buses that are the free service to get to Taj Mahal, we thought it would be much more comfortable than auto rickshaw. But when the shuttle bus arrived we were experiencing the real fight to get a seat. We get swarmed towards the bus as we all push each other it gets really pushy. It was a little bit of hustle but it was fun at the end.

When the bus enters Taj Mahal's courtyard suddenly the level of excitement in all of us increases and again there was a rush to the door to get down. I and my friends stayed back for little while then we proceed to get down. The first thing which I have notice while waking towards the huge gate is the beautiful white structure in front of me. The vision that I saw in postcards and magazines came live ahead and I can see it with my own eyes. The step is truly unforgettable, we have been roaming the beautiful Mughal gardens for some time. Ultimately we are all heading towards the monolith to explore the Taj in more depth. There were stone decorations on the walls, flowers frescoes, the carving is so minuet and exquisite that you merely mesmerise into it. When we finished exploring the beautiful Taj Mahal from both inside and outside, we had to go back to the garden and find a nice place to relax with my friend for a while. My friends and I enjoyed the outside view better than the inside; the surrounding area near Taj makes the monument better beautiful and much more spectacular from outside.

Besides the Agra trip, we really enjoy the food. Its called ‘THALI SET’. While the chapattiraitarasamsambar and pappadom remain the mainstays across the menu, on that afternoon, I received a bowl of fried long beans, carrots and lentils, and another with fried raw banana, known as valaikai. The varuval chicken delivered on all levels of the flavor scale, with touch of sweet to balance out the spice. If you guys plan a trip to North Indian side. Please make sure you have tried for this meal. It was SUPER DELICIOUS. I'm still very enamored with Taj Mahal's magnificent view. We waited there until the sunset over the Taj, which we observed just outside Taj Mahal from the lawn itself. Overall the visit of Taj Mahal was a wonderful experience. I will surely remember my trip to Agra for my lifetime.
